The British superstar has reportedly
landed a massive £90million ($130 million) record deal with Sony. This will be
the biggest music deal ever given to a British musician.
Adele, who is already
worth an estimated £85million ($123 million) , is believed to be putting pen to
paper on the lucrative contract in the next few weeks.
“We have secured the
biggest music star in a generation. This is massive. Adele's deal with her
original label XL expired and we'd an existing relationship with her in
America," a Sony source told The Sun.
"The deal is
being worked on by our Columbia label in the US, but is worth £90million and
gives Sony the rights to release her future music exclusively around the
world."
